40% of Republicans think Benghazi is the biggest scandal in US History: not Marines gunning down Vietnamese villagers, not the discovery of mass graves in Iraq, not the annexation of Hawaii, not the annexation of Native lands, not the internment of Japanese-Americans, not any of the lynchings of Black folks, Jews, Italians, Mexicans, and Chinese Americans, not the Colorado Coalfield War, not the Red Scare, not the Banana Wars, not slavery: not a million scandals that seem to define the United States.

The hilarious double standard “Mexicans are lazy, and too stupid/can’t be bothered to learn English” and “Mexicans are taking all our jobs”. So, you’re saying that you lost your job to a lazy person who doesn’t speak English, how bad at your job were you?

for real though I have encountered to many self described “eco-nazis” or hippies that praise themselves for organic home farms and environmentla sustainability, while not even considering how this does jack shit for social sustainability.
